Humans have shared a deep relationship with animals for centuries. It is important to identify them and understand their habits and characteristics so that we can coexist with them. Realizing this and also knowing children's fascination and curiosity about animals, Presidium Sonipat recently gave them a glimpse of 'safari hunt'. Little Presidians of grade Prep got hands-on experience through engaging activities within the topic of animals, which included 'animal mask making', 'complete the pattern with tearing and pasting' and 'let’s create animals through finger printing'.
Thoroughly enjoyed by the children, all these wonderful activities aimed at developing the creativity in children through arts, dramatics and body movements. Focus was also laid on making them aware of the different characteristics of the animals and how each one of it is unique in nature. The little Presidians were too excited after wearing animals masks and everybody got the chance to be an animal in the jungle. They hopped like a rabbit, jumped like a monkey, roared like a lion and made these activities all the more interesting. It indeed was a day full of fun and entertainment
