Practical work is essential for good science education and is needed for world-class laboratory experiences. Practical laboratory science is a great way to motivate and engage young minds. Hands-on experiments are an essential part of learning science and a way to develop wider life skills. The final Science board practicals of grade 10 were conducted where students were divided into groups of 6 students each. Practicals like finding the pH value of dilute hydrogen chloride, baking soda and dilute ethanoic acid were given to students for assessment. Students went through viva which was taken by the invigilator of the practical. The assessment was based on criteria like conceptual knowledge, observational skills, and scientific aptitude.
