PRESIDIANS SPREAD MESSAGE OF HONESTY AND PEACE ON GANDHI JAYANTI

To pay homage to Gandhiji on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti a special assembly was conducted which ignited the feeling of Patriotism among the students. The assembly began with a dance on the song ‘Sabarmati ke sant tune kar dia kamaal’. It was followed by inspirational poems on positivity by Gandhi ji. Further, an enlightening play was enacted by the students on ‘Swachh Bharat” to spread the message of the importance of cleanliness in our lives. A rally was conducted by our students wherein they shared various anecdotes related to Gandhiji’s life.
PRESIDIANS SHOWCASE GREAT DANCE MOVES WITH ELEGANCE
Dance is not mere translation of life, it is an art ,a movement and an expression! It is life itself. With the aim of honing the dancing skills of our students, an Inter-Class Dance Competition was organized for grade Nursery and Prep at Presidium Sonipat under the aegis of the Rhythm of the Soul academy. Our little Presidians presented energetic performances and filled the atmosphere with energy. Our vivacious dancers truly set the floor on fire. The spectators bore witness to the enthusiasm and vigour of the young Presidians, as they enthralled everyone with their captivating dance moves. The student, mentors and judges applauded the winners for offering such magnetic performances.
LEADERS OF TOMORROW SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF LOVE AND PEACE

On the day of the celebration, students, teachers and staff gathered in a special assembly by grade 3, which started the day with the prayer followed by a pledge for peace. Presidians participated and shared their own views on peace and kindness in the form of speeches and poems. Students lined up for a Peace Rally with banners and posters prepared by them to disseminate the message of ‘Peace and Prosperity’ and universal values. The onlookers really appreciated this involvement of students in spreading such a strong message. The activity of the students towards promoting a harmonious and peaceful society was an impeccable step.

हिंदी भाषा को सम्मान देने के लिए प्रत्येक वर्ष 14 सितंबर को हिंदी दिवस मनाया जाता है | प्रीसिडियम सोनीपत में कक्षा पहली से तीसरी के छात्रों के लिए हिंदी दिवस के उपलक्ष्य में कहानी और कविता वाचन की प्रतियोगिताएँ आयोजित की गई , जिनमें विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया | इन प्रतियोगिताओं से बच्चों को हिंदी भाषा के विषय में जानकारी मिली | अगर हम आसान शब्दों में इस दिन को समझें तो यह हिंदी दिवस के अवसर पर पूरे राष्ट्र को एकजुट करता है। हम हिंदी भाषा के माध्यम से एक दूसरे के साथ और भी बेहतर तरीके से जुड़ते हैं।यह दिन हिंदी भाषा को सम्मान देने का दिन है जो विशेषकर नई पीढ़ी के बीच अपना महत्व खो रही है। हिंदी दिवस हमारे सांस्कृतिक जड़ों को फिर से देखने और अपनी समृद्धता का जश्न मनाने का दिन है। हिंदी हमारी मातृभाषा है और हमें इसका आदर और उसका मूल्य समझना चाहिए।
STORY TELLING: PRESIDIANS NARRATE WITH CONFIDENCE
‘The more that you read the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go’. The importance of reading cannot be underestimated, as reading stretches the child’s mind and introduces him/her to the world of wonder that is literature. Presidium Sonipat realizes how important it is to introduce a world full of imagination and creativity to students. An Intra-Class Story Reading Competition was organized for students of grades 1 to 3 to enhance their reading and imagination skills. The stories were full of suspense, entertainment and information and they were filled with a
new curiosity. The students read out their stories with clear articulation, correct accentuation and voice modulation. The competition was not only intended to encourage reading for pleasure in children but also to give a competitive spur to reluctant readers. Through the reading students showed the perfect blend of letters and sounds. This competition truly inspired students to read more.
GANPATI BAPPA MORYA! PRESIDIANS WISH ALL HAPPY GANESH CHATURTHI
The little leaders of Presidium celebrated the Ganesh Chaturthi in a unique way. The special assembly commenced with a melodious invocation with the Ganesh Vandana “Vakratunda Mahakaya” by our junior choir. It was followed by a dance performance depicting the reason why Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva and his consort Goddess Parvati, came to have the head of an elephant on a human body. The elephant not only symbolizes strength, wisdom and longevity, but also inspires us to stop and think, don’t rush, take one step at a time, keep trying hard and work as a team. The choir confidently and melodiously chanted shlokas to invoke the blessings of Mangalmoorti Ganesha. The assembly concluded with a Ganesh arti by the choir followed by a rhythmic group dance. How a single festival could unite so many diverse people of India was made amply clear. The whole atmosphere was charged with festivity.
STUDENTS BOW TO THEIR TEACHERS ON TEACHER'S DAY!
Teachers’ day is a very important day for every student wherein they get to express gratitude for their mentors for all the hard work and efforts teachers put in to shape their personality. The day buzzed with excitement and smiles all around at Presidium Sonipat. A welcome assembly was conducted by the students who were teeming with a wave of enthusiasm. The students grabbed the opportunity to show thankfulness to their teachers for the dedication and commitment towards them. The teachers were not only very happy but also thrilled to see the spectacular dance performances by the Presidians and also the students were dressed as their teachers and tried their best to lessen the pain of their mentors. The assembly was a celebration of school and education!
PRESIDIANS BRING KRISHNA LEELA TO LIFE ON JANMASHTAMI
The birth in which love, knowledge and mischief all come together is considered as the birth of Lord Krishna. The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with ardor by our Presidians. They were dressed as Radha-Krishna which gave a traditional touch to the occasion. A special assembly was conducted by our little ones, where they enacted a skit, with diverse ‘Leelas’ of Shri Krishna, illustrating the fact that whenever there will be dominance of malevolence, ‘Krishna’ will reincarnate to destroy the evil and save the good. Our little kids as Radha-Krishna pairs danced to the beats of Janmashtami songs filling the air with joy and festive spirit. The laudable performances of our leaders lit up the stage and filled the atmosphere with the feeling of love.

Presidium encourages positive competition and hopes to bring out the best in its students. To ensure that the children learn through all possible ways- not just through books and classroom teaching, an Intra Class Quiz Competition was organized for our little leaders of Nursery and Prep. The event witnessed enthusiastic preparation and participation. There were three grilling rounds based on seasons. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. They depicted the true team spirit as the students were divided in various groups. The quiz was designed to enhance the general awareness of the students and to boost confidence in them. It was great to see our little leaders answering with great confidence and learning in such a fun way.
RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATIONS WITH HON’BLE PM SHRI NARENDRA MODI
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, our young leaders of Presidium Sonepat visited the PM house to celebrate the pious festival with the honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri.Narendra Modi. The students were thrilled to meet the PM and indulge in thoughtful conversations with him. They also received the honour to tie a rakhi on his wrist to express their love and admiration towards him. The Presidians received heaps of blessings from the Prime Minister in return which added to the eminence of this festival in their hearts.
