प्रेसिडियम सोनीपत में हिंदी साप्ताह बड़ी धूम-धाम से मनाया गया
हाल ही में, प्रिसीडियम सोनीपत में 'हिन्दी सप्ताह ' का आयोजन बड़े उत्साह से किया गया, जिस में कक्षा प्रथम, द्तीय तथा तृतीय के विद्यार्थीयों ने विभिन्न गतिविधियों में भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ कबीर जी के दोहों से हुआ। उसके उपरांत 'एक बुढ़िया ने बोया दाना' कविता पर अभिनय करके विद्यार्थीयों ने 'मेहनत का फल मीठा होता है' का संदेश दिया। फलों पर आधारित पहेलियों, आश्चर्यजनक सत्य, हिंदी भाषा से संबंधित प्रश्नों तथा सब्जी मंडी में शहनाई जैसे कार्यक्रमों ने सबका मन मोह लिया।
VISIT TO AQUARIUM:LITTLE PRESIDIANS DISCOVER THE WONDERS OF WATER
Under the TBL theme ‘wonders of water’ and to mix learning with fun, Presidium Sonipat recently organized a 'visit to aquarium’ for students of grade prep. The fun learning activity entailed students to identify different species that live in water. All the students thoroughly enjoyed the visit as they were fascinated to see all types of exotic fishes and animals that were there in the aquarium. Children saw wide verities of fishes, varying in colours, shapes, sizes and textures. They were able to memorize their names as kite fish, angel fish, shark fish, etc. It indeed was an enjoyable day for the children and they learned much more about the theme after the visit.
APPRECIATION DAY: BUILDING AN EMPIRE OF STRONG PERSONALITIES
A person’s greatest emotional need is to feel appreciated!
A small token of appreciation to commemorate each day can make a very big impression. What can be better than appreciating for what one does and motivating them more for the good values. Realizing this, the class teachers of students of grade nursery to 8, appreciated their students by handing over certificates for 'good behaviour', 'creativity', 'initiative', 'curiosity', 'communication skills', 'orator', 'best dancer' and so on, as a part of Appreciation Day celebration. This appreciation motivated the students to perform best in the near future. This electrified the young Presidians and made them believe that their best efforts are being appreciated at every point. Each student in the class was appreciated for one or the other quality. Presidium believes that each child has extraordinary qualities, which we should nurture and believe in.
YOUNG PRESIDIANS CELEBRATE TEACHER’S DAY WITH UNMATCHED SPIRIT

With the mission to thank teachers for their immense contribution in their lives, the students of Presidium Sonipat recently celebrated Teacher’s Day with unmatched spirit. Showing acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development, the young Presidians conducted a special assembly, which featured the ‘leaders of tomorrow’ sharing their views on the occasion, poem recitation and a scintillating dance performance. Everyone was surprised when the students felicitated the teachers with titles and sash. The day was enjoyed by all the teachers. All in all, it was celebration mode for everyone!
JOYOUS EID AL-ADHA CELEBRATIONS REFINE THE CORRIDORS OF PRESIDIUM

Celebrating multifarious cultures and festivals symbolize the unity of an international community, which our school takes pride in. Presidium, Sonipat recently celebrated the festival of Eid al- Adha with fervour by organizing a special assembly. The festival of Eid symbolizes virtuousness, peace and brotherhood. The assembly began with prayers, followed by news headlines and general thoughts. Then, a beautiful poem on Eid was recited, the importance of the festival was shared and a beautiful dance performance was presented by the talented Presidians. Afterwards, a brainstorming quiz on the festival of Eid took place. Insisting that it is pivotal to respect people of different faiths and religions, the assembly was a heartwarming experience for all.
POSTER MAKING COMPETITION: FABRICATING ARTISTRY ON PAPER
Your talent determines what you can do, your motivation determines how much you are willing to do, your attitude determines how well you do it!
The above thought was beauteously personified by the Presidians of grades 4 and 5 from Sonipat in the ‘poster making competition’ held recently. There was exuberance in the mien as the students not only fabricated their artistry on paper, but also ensured their missives on various significant topics like ‘swachha bharat abhiyaan’, ‘women safety’and ‘save ozone layer’ as they hold a subsequent relevance in today’s scenario. The posters prepared by students were embellished with thought provoking concepts, which was a delightful sight for everyone. The students were filled with unparalleled zeal and conceptual knowledge which proved their delectation thoroughly.
INTRA-CLASS QUIZ COMPETITION: ENHANCING THE GENERAL AWARENESS
Education is not only learning of the facts, but training of the mind too!
Keeping the spirit alive, the Story Tellers Academy of Presidium Sonipat recently conducted an 'intra-class quiz competition' from students from grades 1 to 3. Depicting true team, all the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal spirit. The quiz was designed to enhance the general awareness of the students. Four grilling rounds were conducted, which included the content, knowledge, audio, visual and rapid fire. Every moment was very exciting and nail biting for the students. Each team kept fighting throughout and supported every team member in the best way. The atmosphere was exalted. At the end, each and every child was applauded for his or her participation and the students felt encouraged to do even better in the future.
SAFARI HUNT: JUNGLE OF LEARNING FOR THE LITTLE PRESIDIANS
Humans have shared a deep relationship with animals for centuries. It is important to identify them and understand their habits and characteristics so that we can coexist with them. Realizing this and also knowing children's fascination and curiosity about animals, Presidium Sonipat recently gave them a glimpse of 'safari hunt'. Little Presidians of grade Prep got hands-on experience through engaging activities within the topic of animals, which included 'animal mask making', 'complete the pattern with tearing and pasting' and 'let’s create animals through finger printing'.
Thoroughly enjoyed by the children, all these wonderful activities aimed at developing the creativity in children through arts, dramatics and body movements. Focus was also laid on making them aware of the different characteristics of the animals and how each one of it is unique in nature. The little Presidians were too excited after wearing animals masks and everybody got the chance to be an animal in the jungle. They hopped like a rabbit, jumped like a monkey, roared like a lion and made these activities all the more interesting. It indeed was a day full of fun and entertainment
FRUIT FAIR: LITTLE PRESIDIANS RELISH A SUMPTUOUS EXPERIENCE
Fruit is nature's candy!
To promote the 'eat better, feel better' ideology in our little Presidians, a fruit fair was recently organized at Presidium Faridabad. All the students of grade nursery were very excited for the fruit fair and came carrying different fruits. They fondly drew and coloured their favourite fruits in their sketch files by tearing and pasting the paper pieces. They were asked about their favourite fruits in corner game, where the teacher put five different flash cards of fruits to make them have better recognition of fruits. All the teachers displayed beautiful fruit stalls of different shapes and colours to make them aware with the taste, colour and health benefits of fruits. Enjoying the irresistible fruit chaats at the end of the fair, the tiny tots deepened their understanding about the importance of fruits in our life.
Presidians Of Sonipat Celebrate A Blissful Janmashtami At School
With great devotion and enthusiasm, Presidium Sonipat celebrated Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna. A special assembly was conducted by our talented Presidians, wherein the tiny tots of Prep came in colourful attires and depicted the events of Krishna's childhood scenes with a beautiful dance performance. Winning the soul of the spectators, these captivating performances enlightened the audience about the importance of the festival. Students also dressed up as Krishna and Arjuna to portray a saar from Gita, which commemorated the human incarnation of Lord Krishna. Making the students aware about the Indian tradition, customs and culture, the assembly conveyed the strong message of 'victory of good over evil'.
