SPORTS DAY PRIZE DISTRIBUTION LIFTS THE SPIRITS OF OUR PRESIDIANS
A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.
To extol achievements and brio of our young and dynamic students, Annual Sports Day Prize Distribution ceremony was recently organized at Presidium, Sonipat.th November 2017. The event not only lifted the spirits of young talents of Presidians, but also inspired them to become future leaders. Honoured with the magnanimous presence of our very dear Sudha Ma'am, the chairperson of Presidium, this victory ceremony commenced with the customary lamp lighting ceremony and elegant dance and theatrical performances. Sudha Ma'am heartily congratulated the students and for their commendable aptitude and acumen. Prizing our brimming Presidians for their exquisite spirit of sportsmanship, the prize distribution ceremony was truly a memorable event for all.
JOYFUL CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATIONS AT PRESIDIUM SONIPAT
There are some things that we can’t buy, one of such things is childhood!
To celebrate the spirit of childhood and give our young students some memorable, a special assembly was recently conducted by the students of grade 8 in the premises of Presidium, Sonipat. The Presidians presented a scintillating mime on the bad effects of using mobile, implying that it’s the time to live this beautiful phase of childhood, which no money can buy once it’s gone. To awaken the students about the immense love which Chacha Nehru had for children, a speech was delivered and an informative GK Quiz was organized on his life. This was followed by a colourful program presented by the teachers, wherein they conducted numerous fun activities. The students enjoyed the day thoroughly and there was a giggle on the face of every Presidian.
INTER-CLASS TALENT HUNT NURTURES PRESIDIANS' INTRINSIC QUALITIES

Every child has different qualities and talents, which can influence the development of optimism in children by providing both support and autonomy. In a bid to give wings to children to pursue their dreams and bring out their hidden talents, Presidium Sonipat recently organized an Inter-Class Talent Hunt competition for students of grades 4 and 5. The Presidians were very enthusiastic and participated actively to execute their talents in a number of competitions like dance, singing, recitation, storytelling, art and craft and playing an instrument. Awakening the varied talent abilities and interest buried deep within them, the competition nurtured the intrinsic qualities of students and built their confidence.
GURPURAB FILLS THE AIR WITH A SENSE OF TRANQUILITY AT PRESIDIUM
In the loving memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the Presidians of Sonipat recently celebrated the sacred day of Gurpurab with fervour. The event started with ‘Shabad Gyan’, which threw light on the life of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The students offered the flowers, recited ‘Ek Onkar' song and distributed Karah Prasad, which filled the air with a sense of peace and tranquility. Students also portrayed a skit on Guru Nanak Dev Ji and a GK quiz was conducted on his life and teachings to enlighten the students about the solemnity of the occasion. Remembering the message of unity and serving humanity, given by the Guru, the gaiety and sanctity of the occasion was doubled.

To give the shining stars of Presidium Sonipat a majestic credit for their extraordinary achievements in academics, sports and co-curricular activities, a grand ceremony - the CHAIRPERSON HONOURS was recently organized. Graced by Mrs. Sudha Gupta, the honourable Chairperson of Presidium, the ceremony congratulated more than 700 young scholars with certificates of recognition and heaps of encouragement. The 'leaders of tomorrow' were packed with overwhelm and excitement to see their parents cherishing every moment of this unforgettable experience. Giving a bag full of memories to all the students and their parents and mentors, the event strengthened their determination to achieve more in life.
INTER-CLUB DEBATE: PRESIDIANS ESCALATE SPIRIT OF HEALTHY DISSENT
To enhance students’ creativity and analytical skills, creating a culture of healthy debate is one of the most optimum methods.
Following this thought, the Story Tellers Academy of Presidium Sonipat recently organized an Inter-Club Debate Competition to give students of grade 6 to 8 adequate innovative room to express themselves openly and escalate the spirit of healthy dissent. Indulging in the battle of wit and words pertaining to important topics of today, the students participated wholeheartedly. The competition not only enriched the quality of content, argumentative skills and aplomb amongst students, but also amplified their spirits.
BEST OUT OF WASTE CONTEST: PRESIDIANS SHOW EXEMPLARY CREATIVITY
Creativity is an art to explore our ideas in extraordinary ways!
To make our young students of grades 1 to 3 aware of the use of waste material and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, a ‘Best out of Waste’ competition was recently organized at Presidium, Sonipat. The Presidians excitedly participated and displayed fantabulous and innovative ideas made from waste ropes, broken bangles, plastic bangles, waste nails and newspapers. Every waste material was used meticulously and the result was a hall full of beautiful projects made out of waste like photo frames, baskets, jewellery boxes, nests and dolls. The teachers were amazed to see the objects made by the little children. Teaching the importance of conserving resources and making the best use of waste things in life, this fun-filled competition displayed creativity of the little ones and developed sense of love for environment.
INTRA-CLASS SHOW & TELL COMPETITION ENTHRALLS LITTLE PRESIDIANS

To foster public speaking and social skills in our little leaders of tomorrow, an 'intra-class show and tell competition' was recently organized for students of grades nursery and prep at Presidium, Sonipat. The students brought their prized possessions to the class anxiously and delineated them by communicating their feelings, thoughts and emotions very well. They actively expressed their connection and love for their favourite object, which bought a bag of happiness, fun and comfortable learning in the arena for everyone. The enthusiastic participation of every student filled the new day of learning with joy.
ANNUAL SPORTS DAY: YOUNG ATHLETES DISPLAY THEIR TOUGH SPORTY SIDE
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
Annual Sports Day is an important event in the life of every school as sports have a vital role in making a child sound physically as well as mentally. Packed with unmatched zeal and zest, the students of grades nursery to 8 from Presidium Sonipat recently participated in the much-awaited Annual Sports Day. The most intriguing aspect that embellished the event was the splendid field displays, involving mass student participation which splattered on the field. On that day, the atmosphere of the school took a festive look, drawing a great interest of the students. The Presidians competed in various sports activities including cross the hurdles, zig–zag race, hold the hoopla rings and run and clear the track. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. This was followed by the track and sports events including 50 metres sprint, relay race, high jump, long jump, pole vault and 100 meter race. The programme ended with the prize distribution and the vote of thanks to the students for making the Sports Day a successful event.
PRESIDIANS PRAY FOR HAPPINESS, JOY & SUCCESS FOR ALL ON DIWALI
When it was time to welcome the festive spirit with open arms, the young students of Presidium Sonipat seemed packed with excitement and enthusiasm. They conducted a special assembly, wherein a series of spectacular performances added to the brightness of the festival of lights. With the message of 'say no to crackers', the leaders of tomorrow did their bit in sensitizing the audience towards a green and safe Diwali. Rejoicing the day with their dear friends and loving teachers, the young Presidians had a gala time.
