71ST INDEPENDENCE DAY ENERGIZES PRESIDIANS WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOUR
Freedom in the mind, faith in the words, pride in our souls, saluting the spirit of India! Our nation's 71st Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Presidium Sonipat with unity and great patriotism. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, our respected Chief Guest Mr. Ashvin Shenvi , unfurled the tricoloured flag and all in unison, sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom. Thereafter, a token of gratitude and affection was presented to all the eminent guests. On this patriotic occasion, Presidians showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performances. The entire atmosphere was filled with songs full of nationalism, highlighting India’s flight to progress in spite its diversity. The School Choir enhanced the spirit of patriotism by singing a patriotic song. Spellbinding and energizing the audience with patriotic fervour, the 'leaders of tomorrow' inspired the audience about the freedom.
CELEBRATING FRIENDSHIP DAY WITH UNMATCHED EXCITEMENT & HAPPINESS

Understanding the importance of true friendship in our lives, Presidium Sonipat recently dedicated a day to friendship. The Friendship Day was observed with great enthusiasm in the school and many enjoyable activities were planned for the students. The day started with the students hugging each other and wishing them and their loving teachers a very Happy Friendship Day. The Presidians affectionately fastened gorgeous friendship bands on their friends' wrists to let them know how special they are. They also made exquisite friendship baskets, cards and bands to employ their diverse creativity in making a gift for their dear friends. It was a fun-filled day that filled the classrooms with a unique joy and excitement.

More than just making good grades, academic excellence is the demonstrated ability to perform, achieve and excel in scholastic activities. The students of Presidium, Sonipat were recently honoured for their commendable achievement and commitment to learning at the recently organized event - 'Academic Excellence Awards'. The honourable chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta graced this grand event to acknowledge and congratulate the students for displaying exemplary leadership in academics and positive contributions to the classroom learning. Felicitating their sincere efforts in living up to the motto of the school - 'be what you want to be', they were awarded with prestigious trophies and certificates. This grand time-honoured tradition served as a way to recognize and appreciate our 'leaders of tomorrow', while motivating them and their peers to reach new academic heights and carry on the legacy as the torchbearers of Presidium, Sonipat.
COLOURING COMPETITION: YOUNG ENTHUSIASTS ENJOY A COLOURFUL SPLASH

Realizing the boundless love of little ones to paint the town in their own colours, an intra-class colouring competition was organized for Grade Nursery and Prep students at Presidium, Sonipat. The main objective behind this competition was to explore and encourage the creativity of our little Presidians and offer them a platform to showcase their sound colouring skills. They proactively participated in this opportunity to think out of the box and learned more by interacting with their classmates. Inspiring the tiny artists to think and work creatively, the event promoted artistic excellence in them.
FIRST DAY AFTER SUMMER VACATIONS FILLS PRESIDIANS WITH EXCITEMENT
It was time to receive our young and lively Presidians after rejuvenating and refreshing summer break and they just couldn't contain the excitement. Entering into the school premises with a happy heart, the energetic and super-active students were warmly welcomed by their loving teachers and staff.
CHAIRPERSON HONOURS FOR TEACHERS - ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO OUR TEACHERS
Teachers are the ones who engage minds, facilitate thinking, support learning and cultivate dreams!
Such great teachers deserve great rewards and to ensure that, our honourable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta recently graced an event of acknowledgement and appreciation through 'Chairpersons Honours for Teachers'. Expressing that a teacher's influence goes far beyond the classrooms and schools, Mrs. Gupta enlightened the awardees as a great visionary and a proficient educator.
To appreciate and applaud the teachers of Presidium, Sonipat for all their passion and commitment, she honoured them with special trophies and certificates of recognition. This generous and well-deserved note of appreciation made our dear teachers feel recognized for their sincere efforts, hardwork and contributions in the lives of their students.
BETTER CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT WITH TEACHER'S TRAINING SESSIONS

Enabling the skilled teachers of Presidium, Sonipat, to boost the involvement of their students in the overall process of learning, an intensive training program was recently organized. With the help of this training sessions, the teachers were able to get acquainted with tools and techniques for better classroom management. Giving the teachers a higher aim of excelling in the profession, the training conference was a splendid learning experience for all.
PRESIDIANS MASTER ORATORY SKILLS AT DECLAMATION COMPETITION
In order to develop oratory skills, communication skills and promote critical thinking among students, Presidium Sonipat organized an Inter - Club Declamation Competition for Grades 6 to 8.
The students recreated the speeches of famous orators and leaders around the world and displayed immense confidence, enthusiasm and presented their well refined thoughts on the same while participating in the competition.
The first round was conducted in each class wherein the students were shortlisted for the Final Round. The judgment criterion were content, presentation, pronunciation, fluency, voice modulation, confidence and gestures . All the students participated in the competition and exhibited their skills.
The inspiring speeches covered various topics like usage of information technology, global terrorism and life in the urban jungle. The competition gave a lot of encouragement and confidence to the speakers.
The day witnessed a healthy competition with dexterous articulation between participants. The listeners were impressed by the confidence exhibited by the students as they voiced their opinion in strong and powerful words in a neck to neck competition where each and every student displayed their ability to the maximum. Such competitions helps students gain valuable skills which will serve them well in the future.
REMINISCING BUDDHA'S TEACHINGS ON BUDDHA PURNIMA
Edwin Arnold has called Gautama Buddha, the "Light of Asia". Buddha's teachings have travelled far and wide, capturing the hearts of billions of people.
Buddha Purnima memorializes and celebrates the birth of Lord Buddha and his enlightenment. To mark the auspicious occasion of 2560th Buddha Purnima celebration, a special assembly was conducted by Presidium Sonipat.
The assembly began with the chants of school prayer sung by the school choir and they beautifully rendered chants of ‘Buddham Sharnam Gachami’.
This was followed by a spectacular dance performance by our young Presidians. The occasion was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety.
Students presented the 'Eightfold Path' which consists of eight practices: right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right "samadhi" to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha and his teachings.
Such festivals to honor the legends of this great nation Buddha have been held for many centuries and to inculcate the same respect for great personalities our students celebrate the at Presidium school every year.
PRESIDIANS SHOW GRATITUDE TO THEIR MOTHERS ON MOTHER'S DAY
Mother’s Day is a day to appreciate the mothers by lavishing them with love, gifts and gratitude for what all they have done for us. Presidium Sonipat celebrated Mother’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. They paid a loving tribute to their mothers through songs and mesmerising dance performances which were full of palpable emotions and touched the hearts of all.
Thereafter, the significance of a mother’s role in our lives was highlighted, through a melodious song and a lively dance performance by the students of grade 5 and 8. Then, Smriti of grade 3 B recited a wonderful poem to celebrate and show gratitude and respect to our guardian angels.
This was followed by a Hindi Poem Enactment by Bhawna of Grade 3A along with Ms Rubi. Ms Palak delivered a speech on Mother 's Day and to enhance the beauty of this event one Hindi skit was performed by grade 6-8 students.
To event concluded with the thought that Mother’s Day is a great opportunity to say thanks for all the wonderful things our mothers do for us. It was a moment which would be treasured eternally.
