CHAIRPERSON HONOURS FOR TEACHERS - ACKNOWLEDGMENT TO OUR TEACHERS
Teachers are the ones who engage minds, facilitate thinking, support learning and cultivate dreams!
Such great teachers deserve great rewards and to ensure that, our honourable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta recently graced an event of acknowledgement and appreciation through 'Chairpersons Honours for Teachers'. Expressing that a teacher's influence goes far beyond the classrooms and schools, Mrs. Gupta enlightened the awardees as a great visionary and a proficient educator.
To appreciate and applaud the teachers of Presidium, Sonipat for all their passion and commitment, she honoured them with special trophies and certificates of recognition. This generous and well-deserved note of appreciation made our dear teachers feel recognized for their sincere efforts, hardwork and contributions in the lives of their students.
BETTER CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT WITH TEACHER'S TRAINING SESSIONS

Enabling the skilled teachers of Presidium, Sonipat, to boost the involvement of their students in the overall process of learning, an intensive training program was recently organized. With the help of this training sessions, the teachers were able to get acquainted with tools and techniques for better classroom management. Giving the teachers a higher aim of excelling in the profession, the training conference was a splendid learning experience for all.
PRESIDIANS MASTER ORATORY SKILLS AT DECLAMATION COMPETITION
In order to develop oratory skills, communication skills and promote critical thinking among students, Presidium Sonipat organized an Inter - Club Declamation Competition for Grades 6 to 8.
The students recreated the speeches of famous orators and leaders around the world and displayed immense confidence, enthusiasm and presented their well refined thoughts on the same while participating in the competition.
The first round was conducted in each class wherein the students were shortlisted for the Final Round. The judgment criterion were content, presentation, pronunciation, fluency, voice modulation, confidence and gestures . All the students participated in the competition and exhibited their skills.
The inspiring speeches covered various topics like usage of information technology, global terrorism and life in the urban jungle. The competition gave a lot of encouragement and confidence to the speakers.
The day witnessed a healthy competition with dexterous articulation between participants. The listeners were impressed by the confidence exhibited by the students as they voiced their opinion in strong and powerful words in a neck to neck competition where each and every student displayed their ability to the maximum. Such competitions helps students gain valuable skills which will serve them well in the future.
REMINISCING BUDDHA'S TEACHINGS ON BUDDHA PURNIMA
Edwin Arnold has called Gautama Buddha, the "Light of Asia". Buddha's teachings have travelled far and wide, capturing the hearts of billions of people.
Buddha Purnima memorializes and celebrates the birth of Lord Buddha and his enlightenment. To mark the auspicious occasion of 2560th Buddha Purnima celebration, a special assembly was conducted by Presidium Sonipat.
The assembly began with the chants of school prayer sung by the school choir and they beautifully rendered chants of ‘Buddham Sharnam Gachami’.
This was followed by a spectacular dance performance by our young Presidians. The occasion was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety.
Students presented the 'Eightfold Path' which consists of eight practices: right view, right resolve, right speech, right conduct, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right "samadhi" to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Buddha and his teachings.
Such festivals to honor the legends of this great nation Buddha have been held for many centuries and to inculcate the same respect for great personalities our students celebrate the at Presidium school every year.
PRESIDIANS SHOW GRATITUDE TO THEIR MOTHERS ON MOTHER'S DAY
Mother’s Day is a day to appreciate the mothers by lavishing them with love, gifts and gratitude for what all they have done for us. Presidium Sonipat celebrated Mother’s Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. They paid a loving tribute to their mothers through songs and mesmerising dance performances which were full of palpable emotions and touched the hearts of all.
Thereafter, the significance of a mother’s role in our lives was highlighted, through a melodious song and a lively dance performance by the students of grade 5 and 8. Then, Smriti of grade 3 B recited a wonderful poem to celebrate and show gratitude and respect to our guardian angels.
This was followed by a Hindi Poem Enactment by Bhawna of Grade 3A along with Ms Rubi. Ms Palak delivered a speech on Mother 's Day and to enhance the beauty of this event one Hindi skit was performed by grade 6-8 students.
To event concluded with the thought that Mother’s Day is a great opportunity to say thanks for all the wonderful things our mothers do for us. It was a moment which would be treasured eternally.
GREAT DISPLAY OF SPORTSMANSHIP AT PRESIDIUM BADMINTON TOURNAMENT
Presidians showcased an extra-ordinary display of sportsmanship in Badminton Tournament. The opportunity was given to the students so that they could explore their sporty side. Girl power became the highlight of the event as they bagged the trophy in their kitty by gaining a huge round of applause. Believing in the overall development of a child, Presidium aligns with the idea of creating ‘leaders of tomorrow’.
PRESIDIUM REVERBERATES WITH THE TRANSCENDENT BEAUTY OF DANCE
Presidium Sonipat organised a special assembly on World Dance Day that was brilliantly managed by the 'Rhythm of the Soul Academy'.
The assembly was a platform for the students to explore, experience and showcase their talent through different classical dance forms of India and other western dance forms like Jive, Salsa, Waltz, Rock n Roll, Jazz. The event saw a beautiful amalgamation of Indian classical and western dance forms. The soulful dance performances by our budding artists bedazzled their peers. It was indeed a beautiful celebration of dance and its magnificence as an art form.
CHAIRPERSON HONOURS VICTORIOUS STUDENTS OF PRESIDIUM
The 'Chairperson Honours’ ceremony held at Presidium Sonipat, was an occasion to celebrate students’ achievements. They are a way to recognize and appreciate them; thus motivating them and their peers to reach the top with unmatched dedication, hard work and talent.
The Honourable Chairperson, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, awarded the achievers and expressed her heartfelt wishes and congratulated them. They have made us proud by outshining in various fields of academics, sports and co-curricular activities with their success stories. Young Presidians gathered proud applauds and cheers from their parents and peers at the ceremony.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY 2017: PRESIDIANS TAKE UP BIGGER RESPONSIBILITIES
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”
With this belief, Presidium Sonipat hosted a grand Investiture ceremony with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. On the fine afternoon of 27th April 2017, Mrs. Sudha Gupta, the Honourable Chairperson of Presidium, bestowed the young Presidians with the badges of responsibility. They felt inspired and shared their feelings of gratitude with the audience. It was a moment of great pride for the parents to witness the moment of honour.
The occasion began with a scintillating and enlivening dance performance by young Presidians that mesmerised one and all. It was indeed a proud moment for the Presidium family as the council members received their badges. The Student Council took an oath to live up to the expectations of the school authority.
The newly inducted Head boy and Head girl proposed the vote of thanks and also showed gratitude to the Chairperson for her encouraging words.
AMBASSADORS OF NATURE PLEDGE TO SAVE MOTHER EARTH
"We are a part of Earth and Earth is part of us."
Keeping this thought in mind, students of Presidium Sonipat conducted an assembly on Earth Day wherein they shared their thoughts about the various ways in which our Mother Earth can be more beautiful and happier. They talked about all the important components of Earth like ocean, wildlife, air, sky, food and land. Through the assembly they sensitized other students to save electricity, save water, plant more trees etc.
Students of all Grades came together, planted a sapling and watered it under the guidance of teachers and the gardener. They also made sure that the plants were at a place where they would get sufficient rays of the sun and will be watered daily.
The assembly culminated with a pledge to do whatever they could do to help the planet become a better place to live in.
