CHRISTMAS CARNIVAL : FESTIVITIES MARK EVERY INCH OF SCHOOL PREMISES
Presidium Sonipat recently hosted the grand Christmas Carnival, which proved to be a huge hit. The eagerly waiting young crowd thronged inside and festivities marked every inch of the ground. Gaily decorated stalls welcomed the surprised visitors and each stall outdid the other with innovative ideas and warm reception. The guests made merry at the stalls, participating in games like lucky dip, fortunate coin, unlock the lock, chick race and hit the dart. Young feet tapped to the latest beats belted out by the DJ and as the sun shone brighter, the revelries became livelier. Overall, it was a boisterous triumph and jubilant way of ushering in the Christmas celebrations.
SONIPAT HEROES: A VIVID INTER-SCHOOL CONTEST TO SHOWCASE SKILLS

Believing that competitions offer a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyse and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude, Presidium recently organized an inter-school competition ‘Sonipat Heroes’. A number of students from different schools participated in the event and the occasion was graced by esteemed guests and a panel of judges from different educational institutions. The event was an amalgamation of different categories like Fancy Dress, Rhyme Recitation, Best Out of Waste, Sonipat Dance Masters, Drawing and Colouring and Debate competition. Providing a larger scope for the young vibrant students to display their talent, the fun-filled contest motivated the students to perform, excel and receive a lot more reward than just winning a prize. The students were felicitated with trophies and gifts for their marvellous efforts and it was truly a learning experience for all!
ITIHAAS WALK TO RED FORT: A VALUABLE EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING EVENT
'History of Delhi' more or less reflects the 'History of India'! It is replete with historical monuments and has been greatly influenced by every major upheaval that India has been through.
To make learning more effective, efforts are being taken by Presidium Sonipat along with Itihaas-Indian Traditions & Heritage Society. Recently, our students from grades 6 to 8 were taken on an Itihaas Walk to the Red Fort to explore and enrich their knowledge. Accompanied by a team of mentors, the students took keen interest and with a great enthusiasm, they apprehended the insight of this beautiful heritage site. They were given a workbook with a questionnaire and a drawing book so that they can stay focused on the knowledge imparted to them. This helped a deep penetration of the understanding and familiarity with the subject. The day ended with an experiential learning experience and the promise that the Presidians will forever respect the Indian Heritage!

To salute this unparalleled zeal to serve the country till their last breath and to ignite the spark of patriotism and nationalism in the hearts of our students, we at Presidium Sonipat recently observed the Armed Forces Flag Day of India. Dedicated towards the collection of funds from people of India for the welfare of the Indian Armed Forces Personnel, the day was celebrated with a special assembly conducted by students of grades 5 and 8. The assembly filled the Presidians with gratitude for our fearless and indomitable heroes entrusted with the charge of taking care of not only the border, but also of each and every civilian like us all.
PRESIDIANS GAIN A BETTER OUTLOOK WITH THE BOOK READING SESSION

Books can become our best friend, counsel or a teacher and enrich us with knowledge and pleasure. Reading not only has tremendous power when it comes to fuelling the development of all aspects of language ability, its importance to the entirety of a human life in this day and age really can’t be overstated. Considering this, a book reading session was recently organized for the students of Presidium, Sonipat. All the students and teachers devoted some time to read together in pin drop silence. The event truly proved that reading shapes our personality and for a better outlook, it’s important to read.
PRESIDIANS ORGANIZE A NAVY DAY ASSEMBLY TO SALUTE OUR SOLDIERS
The Navy has both a tradition and a future and we look with pride and confidence in both directions!
Navy Day in India is observed on 4th December every year to celebrate the achievements and role of the naval force towards our country. The Indian Navy is the marine branch of the Indian Armed Forces and is led by the President of India as Commander-in-Chief. Presidium Sonipat organized a special assembly to celebrate this heroic day. The assembly started with enlightening the audience about the fact that this day is celebrated to commemorate the courageous attack on the Karachi harbour. Filled with patriotism and respect for our brave soldiers, the Presidians truly paid them a loving tribute.
SPARSH SPECIAL CHILDREN COME TO THANK THEIR COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS

Presidium school supports Sparsh Special School and recently contributed generously for the welfare of its differently-abled children on the occasion of Children's Day. When the Sparsh children came to visit and thank their compassionate friends at Presidium Sonipat, our young students warmly welcomed them with a special assembly. The Presidians of grades prep and 8 entertained their special friends by showcasing their talent via amazing performances. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and exuberance. The assembly concluded with a message that we can’t help everyone but everyone can help someone.

What can be better than appreciating for what one does and motivating them more for the good values. To happily celebrate the Appreciation Day, the students of grades nursery to 3 rejoiced their parents' love at Presidium, Sonipat. The young leaders of tomorrow appreciated the love of their parents and the loved ones. They made enormously beautiful cards to depict their emotions towards the ones, who brought them in this world and gave them all the colours of life. Through this special day, they showed love, respect and feelings which they have for their supporters.
SPELLATHON: EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATORS OF TOMORROW PERFORM SUPERBLY
Language is a vital part of understanding life and enjoying it to the fullest!
Presidium has always been brimming with enthusiasm to steer towards overall development of the young learners and aims to provide a suitable platform to avow one’s knowledge. One of the attempts in this direction included a Spellathon Competition organized recently for the students of grades 1 to 3. The competition provided an opportunity to the young minds to be prompt in their thinking and observational skills. It was enthralling to see the students participating enthusiastically and the contest really helped in enriching their vocabulary and pronunciation skills to carve them into the effective and impressive communicators of tomorrow.
PRESIDIANS PERFORM WITH BRILLIANT TEAM SPIRIT AT INTRA-CLASS QUIZ

To enhance the competitive spirit and general knowledge of our students of grades 6 to 8, the Story Tellers Academy of Presidium Sonipat recently conducted an Intra-Class Quiz Competition. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal and depicted the true team spirit. The quiz was designed to enhance the general awareness of the students via three rounds - content-based, visual-based and rapid fire. Every moment was very exciting and nail–biting for the students. Each team kept fighting throughout and supported every team member in the best way. The atmosphere was exalted!
