PRESIDIANS RETURN FROM SUMMER BREAK WITH FULL ENERGY!
Presidium Sonipat accorded a warm welcome to its students after their summer break with happy and joyful faces. Presidians are back in school again with full energy to learn, share and treasure the memories of a lifetime. The school was decorated to welcome its students followed by conduction of a special assembly. The assembly commenced seeking blessings of god followed by a physical exercise session for a healthy beginning. Two significant days – National Doctor’s Day and International Joke Day were also brought into light with an effective audio visual presentation and a speech by the students. Teachers enthusiastically welcomed the students with a warm welcome note followed by an interactive session on utilization of summer break with sharing of experiences.
PRESIDIANS TRANSCEND ALL INTO THE REALM OF CINEMA AT SKIT CONTEST
The young leaders of the Presidium, Sonipat once again caught the rapt attention of the audience, at the Inter Club Skit Competition. The dramatics team of all the clubs participated enthusiastically in the competition. The powerful performances of the budding actors transported the audience to the realm of cinema.The topics for the event were carefully chosen and mirrored the concerns of the society at large. It was a novice experience that left an impact on the minds of all the leaders. The event was competitive in nature and the thunderous applause that each team received by the gathering was testimony to the fact that each one of them was a winner, as all the plays had conveyed a powerful message.
BUDDHA PURNIMA CELEBRATION FILLS THE SCHOOL AURA WITH PEACE
Buddha Purnima commemorates and celebrates the birth and enlightenment of Lord Buddha. A special assembly on the occasion of Buddha Purnima was organised at Presidium, Sonipat to enlighten the students about the life and teachings of Lord Buddha. To absorb the spirit of this occasion, students witnessed the enactment of Prince Devrath and Prince Siddhartha, which successfully spread the message of being kind to other fellow beings and not to quarrel with the people around. Presidians were made aware that on this day Buddhists offer prayers in different Buddhist temples and also proceed with other important religious activities. Monks and devotees meditate and worship the statue of Gautam Buddha. It was a great day as students troth to follow the path of kindness and honesty.
DRAWING COMPETITION: PAINTING IMAGINATIONS WITH CREATIVITY
The little imaginative and creative painters of Grades 1 to 3 recently participated in an Intra class Drawing Competition. Truly, every child or person has an ocean of inner strengths and to prove this inner strength Presidium, Sonipat provided a platform to its students. The drawing competition verily moved the children to express their creativity. This drawing competition really proved that every child is an artist, as the children showcased their creative skills through drawing and colouring and came up with an amazing art work. Each of these drawings were done so beautifully and diligently by the children, it was a treat to the eyes. Students shined in exhibiting their skills by their creative presentation.
LITTLE LEADERS ENJOY THE MUSIC OF WORDS AT RHYME RECITATION
To give the words to the emotions of our little leaders Presidium Sonipat organized a Poem Recitation Competition for Grade Nursery. The little leaders enjoyed the beauty of expression, thoughts, feelings, rhyme and the music of words. They got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence on the stage. The children chose a variety of topics for their recitation like nature, trees, flowers, mother, teacher, unity in diversity etc. with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. Each child was given a chance to recite a rhyme and it was a delight to hear these little ones singing in rhyme and rhythm. The efforts of students were appreciated and applauded and the children enjoyed the competition.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. PRESIDIANS COMPETE AT INTERCLUB ELOCUTION COMPETITION
“Let thy speech be better than silence.” Presidium Sonipat organized an Inter-Class Elocution Competition for the students of Grade 4 & 5 on the topic ‘Say no to Plastic’. It was conducted to enhance their confidence and speaking skills. The participants, exhibited perfect nuances and finer points that go into making a public speech interesting and captivating. The self-confidence and praiseworthy articulation delivered by the speakers with uncommon sense of conviction, made the event a benchmark for the fellow students, also providing utmost satisfaction and pride to the teachers. The students gained the admiration as they were endowed with the fine art of public speaking and the thoughts were represented with the elegance and style.The leaders participated with great enthusiasm.
EARTH DAY: SENSITISING STUDENTS ABOUT THE NEEDS OF OUR PLANET
The leaders of Presidium, Sonipat along with the teachers celebrated Earth Day with much enthusiasm. The aim was to sensitise the students towards their role in addressing global environmental challenges at grass root level. The Presidians collectively participated in the rally as they took the initiative towards a green and beautiful Earth. The students displayed an informative presentation on how Mother Earth can be saved from global warming. To mark this day and to emphasize upon the need to save trees, all the Presidians were involved in speaking slogans like ‘Save Earth’ and ‘Go Green’. The Presidians decided to take a pledge to make a lifestyle change that would impact not only those within the school but also the community outside of the school. The day really proved as an eye opener for everyone as they understood the need of an hour to save the Mother Earth.
