PRESIDIANS EXHIBIT SUPERB CONFIDENCE IN POEM RECITATION CONTEST
Poem Recitation is a mode of expression, a medium to reflect the latent talents of the young ones! To brush some sparkle off the shoulders of our students, Presidium, Sonipat organized an english recitation competition for grade I-III. As we all know, beauty is the realm of the poetry, the Presidians enjoyed the beauty of expression, thoughts, feelings, rhythm and music of words throughout the competition. The little Presidians got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence in front of an enthusiastic audience. They chose a variety of topics for their recitation such as nature, trees, flower, mother, and teacher to name a few. It was a delight to hear the little ones singing in rhythm with a lot of excitement.
BAISAKHI ADDS ABUNDANT SPLENDOUR TO THE CORRIDORS OF PRESIDIUM
Besides being the start of a new year in Punjab, Baisakhi is also a harvest festival, as it marks the maturing of the Rabi crop when farmers begin harvesting the grain. The students of Presidium Sonipat recently celebrated this colourful harvest festival with immense religious fervour and enthusiasm via a special assembly. The celebrations began with a thoughtful speech explaining the significance of the day, post which, a wonderful cultural dance performance was presented. The school came alive with the brilliant Gidda performance which was the highlight of the programme!
PRESIDIUM SONIPAT WELCOMES STUDENTS IN NEW SESSION WITH OPEN ARMS
To welcome the students into a new and promising session, an interactive session of fun-filled activities was recently organized at Presidium, Sonipat. The students proactively participated in these ice-breaking activities and relished the perfect start to a new year, filled of fresh hopes and dreams.
LITTLE PRESIDIANS DEVELOP RESPECT & EMPATHY TOWARDS OUR HELPERS
United we stand, divided we fall!
A beautiful amalgamation of sense of responsibility, empathy and importance recently came together at Presidium Sonipat with a special assembly on Helpers Day by students of grade prep. Through captivating role-plays, they expressed how the immense day-to-day support of our helpers makes our lives easier. The little Presidians acknowledged the helpers with the token of love, which was very touching for all. The assembly concluded with a positive note that a better nation is the result of a better society that our young leaders are preparing.
OUR SPORTS STARS SHINE AT INTRA-CLASS TAEKWONDO/SKATING CONTEST
Considering that Taekwondo and Skating are not mere combat sports, but are also a way of life for enthusiasts around the globe, Presidium Sonipat recently organized an Intra-Class Taekwondo/Skating Championship. The competition not only portrayed the essence of team spirit to our young Presidians, but also gave them an opportunity to showcase their capabilities. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed the activity thoroughly. Witnessing spectacular performances of our little sports stars, the event was very fruitful learning indeed!
APPRECIATION DAY VALUES THE HIDDEN STRENGTHS OF OUR PRESIDIANS
Appreciation is the highest form of prayer, for it acknowledges the presence of good wherever you shine the light of your thankful thoughts!
In order to impart the sense of self significance and boost their morale, an Appreciation Day was recently conducted at Presidium, Sonipat. The teachers appreciated their students by handing over certificates for various positive attributes including leadership, good behaviour, enthusiasm, dance and creativity. Each student in the class was appreciated for one or the other quality and feeling valued for their accomplishments was a wonderful experience for our leaders of tomorrow.
Children are great imitators, so give them something great to imitate!
Considering this, an Inter-Class Role Play Competition for the students of grade 3 was recently organised at Presidium, Sonipat. The competition blended learning with fun, and also helped in boosting the confidence of our little Presidians. Their excitement and happiness knew no boundaries as they came dressed up in resplendent costumes to emulate several famous personalities and their favourite fairy tale characters. It proved to be a great learning experience and also provided the students an insight about their true potential while showcasing their acts.
INTRACLASS PICTURE READING COMPETITION STIRS CREATIVE MINDS

To enhance the speaking and imaginative skills of students Presidium, Sonepat organized an Intra-Class Picture Reading Competition for grades nursery and prep. All the students participated with the great enthusiasm and enjoyed the activity thoroughly. The students were shown pictures during the competition and they zealously described those pictures, which aided in polishing their vocabulary to a great level. Their efforts portrayed a clear picture of their thoughts and the imagination that is growing in their small minds by every passing day. It was a great to witness our little Presidians enjoying to the fullest as their eyes were filled with happiness and fervor.
PRESIDIANS ENLIGHTEN ALL ABOUT MYTHOLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF HOLI
From the lanes of Mathura and Vrindavana, the colours of Holi have spread all over the country. These colours also carry the message of love, brotherhood and truth!
On the colourful occasion of Holi, a special assembly was presented by the students of grades 1 and 4 at Presidium, Sonipat. The Presidians came beautifully dressed and recited a melodious rhyme ‘Holi aai Holi aai’. Then, a quiz was conducted on the facts on Holi, which was followed by a speech to enlighten the audience about the mythological significance of the day. The assembly ended on a note of high spirit and energy with a riveting dance performance by the students to show how the gopis played Holi with the gawalas of Vrindavan.
INTER-CLUB AD MAD CONTEST: CREATIVITY MEETS MADNESS AT PRESIDIUM
Advertisements are commercials that are designed to get the attention of the consumers. The purpose behind is to get something stuck in the brain of consumers, so it requires a lot of creativity.
To provide our grade 4 and 5 students a space to demonstrate their understanding of the world of advertisement, an Inter-Club Ad Mad Competition was recently organized at Presidium, Sonipat. Grabbing the opportunity to showcase their creativity and ability to perform, the young learners got acquainted with the promotional strategies in marketing, comprising of both humour and conceptual presentation, through advertisements. With great enthusiasm, the Presidians presented innovative advertisements with excellent input of humour, plus commercial and social messages. Delivering unique pieces of performance in this confidence building exercise, the leaders of tomorrow were actively encouraged to think creatively and to put their ideas forward.
