GRANDPARENTS’ DAY: A TRIBUTE TO ALL THE LOVELY GRANDPARENTS
"A Grand Parent's love is strong and deep, filled with memories to cherish and keep."
Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and pure love. Their love creates some of the most vibrant shades of childhood, which can be treasured as memories through out life. They hold our tiny hands just for a little while but our hearts forever. With them we feel safe and secure. Their love nurtures us and their wisdom makes us wise and strong. Our adorable little Presidians, felt an urge to express their love and gratitude for their very special grandparents. Thus we celebrated 'Grandparents Day' in our school, where Grandparents were invited. They were welcomed in a traditional manner with tilak and flowers. They later were really glad to see their bundles of joy performing with utmost confidence and grace on stage.
Teachers also presented dance performances on tunes of some of the most popular old songs. Our teachers are multi talented and truly versatile too.
Grandparents really enjoyed playing various games and also walked gracefully on ramp. They were appreciated for their efforts and it was a delight to see them revisiting their college days. Our little champs also sang prayers and bhajans which filled every body's heart with various shades of worship. Kids presented small hand made cards to their grandparents and they were also given 'Bhagwad Geeta' as a token of love.
It was a wonderful day where virtues of togetherness, love, respect and unity were celebrated beautifully.
