"Mathematics is not about numbers, equations, computation, and algorithms; it's all about understanding."

Presidium organized a working model activity of Mathematics for the students of grade 7. Project-based learning in mathematics means that students will learn in groups, design a real-life application that illustrates the mathematical principles they are trying to learn. Topics like Integers, Fractions, Decimals, Simple Equations, Rational Numbers, and Data Handling were covered through activities. When word of mouth is not possible or not precise enough, working models are how mathematicians communicate with each other. Students participated enthusiastically and learned the concepts while creating their respective models.
